Dr. Georgenna Riley selected as the Chairman of the Radiology Department

Dr. Georgenna Riley, a former Rosenwald Student, was selected as the Chairman of the Radiology Department, Ohio Region, Kaiser Permenante,  Cleveland, Ohio.  Dr. Riley is a 1981 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and a 1995 graduate of Ohio State University College of Medicine where she serves on the Alumni Board.  During the Fall of 2008, an endowed  scholarship, in honor of Dr. Riley, was begun.  This scholarship is  awarded annually to an economically disadvantaged and underepresented minority medical student who has a desire to help others and exhibits leadership skills. Dr. Riley says the love and support from her Harlan County family and friends have certainly been a factor in her success.
