Time management and homework tips to help you manage your school:   Laughing
Start with a clean slate. The first step to organizing your school year
is to de-clutter. Get rid of any school related items that clutter your
personal space. Keep only what is useful and will be beneficial throughout
the school year. Organize papers in separate folders and automatically
purge things you’re positive you’ll never need again.
Rise and shine at the same time every morning. Having a consistent
bedtime will help you feel refreshed when it’s time to rise in the morning.
It’s wise to set your alarm with extra time to spare. If it usually takes you
30 minutes to shower and get out the door be on the safe side and allot
yourself 45.
If you have trouble getting up despite your bedside alarm, move your
alarm clock across the room so you’ll have no choice but to physically get
out of bed to turn it off.
Lay out your clothes in advance. Listening to a weather forecast and
taking a few minutes to prepare your wardrobe for the following day
will save you a ton of time in the morning. Include accessories and footwear
 in your preparations.
Use an organizer. If you’ve got a student planner or agenda use it.
Organizers that come complete with pocket folders, dividers and planning
calendars are ideal. When you think of something you need to remember
jot it down right away. If you wait until later you may forget. Also, consider
using a separate homework folder for completed assignments.

College Expenses - Creative Ways to Pay For Tuition and Other Costs
College is obscenely expensive and becoming more so by the year. Not only is there the enormous cost of tuition, but students must also account for the expense of books, miscellaneous campus fees, transportation, dorm fees, and food.

Some people's parents can afford to pay for college, but others have to be more resourceful and work their way through school.

A person who really wants something in life can find a way to attain it. That often means being clever as well as working hard. There are numerous opportunities to make the money to cover college expenses. After you read this, talk with the financial aid offices of the school to which you want to go or are already attending.

Building Character: Volunteering for Community Service

Volunteering in the community is a great way to serve the people in the area where you live. Many non-profit organizations are run by people who give a lot of their own time and money to make your community a better place, and volunteers help these services to continue.

In addition, community service is a great way for teenagers to become aware of needs outside themselves. Don't wait until your teenagers are required to perform mandatory community service to help them get more involved in your community.

Great Recommendation Letters Win Big Scholarship Bucks

Your scholarship application is due in ten days. It must have three recommendation letters attached, and, so far, you have not gotten any back from your teachers. A note to each of them last week hasn't gotten any results. Talk about strained nerves. All the work to get the application ready, and now letters are halting the process.

This is a scenario that repeats itself hundreds and thousands of times each year. You can avoid this problem by taking important appropriate actions.
