To qualify for a Scholarship, youth must be a descendant of a Rosenwald-Harlanite. An application form is required to show the qualifying family member. You will also need to submit a transcript of grades, letters of recommendation from teachers along with a short essay from the candidate.

        Scholarship 2011:  Charlotte Goins Carter, Chairperson.  Charlotte announced that three students submitted scholarship applications.  

     The scholarship committee awarded $2,000.00 each to:

     Gabrielle Douglas of Columbus, OH;

     Phylicia Goins of Alexandria VA; 

     Solomon Tentman of Cincinnati, OH.

2010 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS were awarded $10,000, Scholarships ranged from $1,000.00 to $2,000.00 dollars.  There were eight students selected this year, please see the following:
